Our chickens are Ross and Ross with white plumage. Breeding is done in a henhouse on litter with a minimum of 2 ft2 per bird, which leaves enough space to properly develop the muscles and ensure the well-being of the bird. The building has windows to let in natural light and a minimum of 8 hours of darkness is allocated for rest. Temperature and ventilation are regulated to meet the needs of the bird, according to its age. The birds have access to an outdoor enclosure during the summer season.
The chicken is slaughtered when its weight reaches 2 to 2.5 kg and it is at least 9 weeks old.
