Native to the Crimean peninsula on the Black Sea, this large tomato is a favorite with children because it has no acidity and few seeds. The smooth, purple-red fruits with green shoulders are round and regular and turn almost black in very hot summers. Their dark red and green flesh has a unique, soft and sweet taste that is unanimous in salads. Medium-sized fruits most often weigh between 120 and 150 g, but they can sometimes weigh double that. The indeterminate plant displays very good drought resistance and can measure up to 2 m in height.
